Gas Bottle Cages

Leading Suppliers of Mesh Cages.

DRB is one of the UK's leading suppliers of mesh cages for the storage of gas cylinders. We have over 15 years of industry experience and work with a broad range of private and public sector clients.

We offer a wide range of cost-effective gas bottle storage solutions, so have something to suit most budgets and requirements.

How can Gas Cages protect?

Gas site safety is subject to extremely stringent regulation, and with good reason. Many accidents can be easily avoided with the installation of simple protective gas cages, such as those supplied by DRB.

Gas cages keep cylinders away from potential hazards, such as naked flame and impact, and ensure they are kept well ventilated in the open air. They also help to protect cylinders against tampering, theft and accidental damage.

Our cages have a number of uses in both commercial to domestic situations. They protect not only employees, but also tools, equipment and personal possessions.

How are Gas Cages constructed?

All of our gas cylinder storage cages are constructed from angle or box section dependent upon your requirements. Panels are in-filled with 2" square 10s gauge steel mesh (50.8mm sq x 3mm).

We have standard panel sizes of 1850mm x 925mm (approximately 6ft x 3ft), but can manufacture cages to your own specifications.

For maximum security and privacy of content, panels can be in-filled with 3mm sheet steel, fully welded. All bolt heads are enclosed within the cage to reduce tampering.

What weather protection can be used on Gas Cages?

Powder coating is extremely durable, but for customers wishing to maximise their weather protection, we offer zinc plating or galvanising.

How can Gas Cages be installed?

All of our mesh cages are designed for simple self-assembly and come with full instructions. They are suitable for being bolted to a flat wall and all bolt heads are enclosed within the cage to reduce the risk of tampering.

What is the process of delivery?

All of our quality gas cages are flat packed and paletised via courier or collect. Please contact us for details.

Why do you need a Pallet Safety Gate?

Our pallet gates are designed to protect workers from a fall when loading or unloading goods at any height. Pallet safety gates are often used on mezzanine floors or other exposed edges in a warehouse or distribution operation. The main benefit of a pallet gate is that it guarantees continuous protection against an exposed edge regardless of whether the pallet gate is in the open or closed position.

To operate, simply swing the pallet gate into the open position to accept goods or swing the pallet gate into the closed position to remove goods by hand, pallet truck or forklift. There are various other forms of edge protection available such as removable hand railing, chains, or swing barriers.
